Who Is Blueprint Gaming?
Blueprint Gaming is a UK slot studio based in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, established in 2001. It began life supplying land-based gaming machines — arcades, pubs, betting shops — before moving into online slots. The company is now a subsidiary of Germany's Merkur Group (formerly branded Gauselmann Group), which acquired a 50% stake in 2008 and took full ownership by 2012.
Blueprint holds licences from the UK Gambling Commission (account number 6516), the Malta Gaming Authority, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and Gibraltar's Gambling Division, so its games reach players only through regulated, licensed casino operators.
What Makes Blueprint Distinctive
Blueprint is best known for two things: cash-collect mechanics and linked jackpots. Its signature "money symbol" collection format, popularised by the Fishin' Frenzy series, has become one of the most widely copied formats in the industry. Its Jackpot King system links compatible slots together into a shared, growing progressive jackpot pool that sits alongside each game's own base-game payouts.
The studio has also built a track record with licensed IP tie-ins — Ted, Deal or No Deal, Rick and Morty and The Goonies have all had official Blueprint slot adaptations, alongside its own original franchises.
Notable Titles
Fishin' Frenzy and its Megaways spin-off are Blueprint's flagship franchise, built around a fishing-reel cash-collect bonus. King Kong Cash pairs the Megaways mechanic with a bonus wheel and an ape theme. Genie Jackpots ties a genie-themed base game to Blueprint's jackpot network, while Vikings Unleashed applies Megaways to a Norse setting.
